Front Desk Team
Schedule and Office Coordinator
I love seeing the beautiful, big smiles when a patient finishes treatment. Our patients become our friends, and we do everything possible to make sure they feel welcome, relaxed, and comfortable during their visits. I greet patients and check them in and out, as well as schedule their visits. I also verify insurance and collect patient payments. Other duties include communications, ordering office supplies, and coordinating doctor lunches.
I’m married, with two beautiful daughters who are my biggest blessing and my entire life. I love spending time with family, enjoying outdoor activities, and singing with them.
I am the person you first see when you walk in the office. I greet patients and check them in. I also schedule appointments, collect payments, and answer the phone. I love to see how excited patients get for getting a beautiful smile and I’m always happy to help them.
I’m a happy newlywed, love biking and traveling to new destinations. Lake Eola is my favorite evening walk. I’m from Brazil, speak Portuguese and English. My Spanish is not so good yet, but I am working on it!
I love watching the changes that happen in patients as their new smile is created. They become more confident and outgoing, smiling and laughing all the time. Their beaming smiles at the end of treatment make me smile. I assist our patients and parents to understand their financial options and help them choose payment plans that work with their budget. I also handle treatment contracts and insurance matters, and prepare our monthly financial reports.
I was born and raised in Mexico City. I have two daughters who share my passions for reading, traveling, attending the theater, and visiting museums. I love my time with them.
I love talking with patients and families about the benefits of orthodontic care. Not only does treatment create a beautiful smile, but it improves a person’s dental health and self-confidence! I greet new patients and introduce them to our practice. Following their consultation, I review Dr. Diaz’s proposed treatment plan and available care options. Then I answer everyone’s questions, so patients and parents can make an educated decision about their new smile.
I’m an outgoing and positive person. I share my life with Lola, a Bichon Frise. When not working, I like going to the beach and shopping, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant and Ordering Coordinator
I love getting to know each patient and learning about their lives. Everyone has stories to share and we’re always laughing together. The best part of my work is the happy smile on a patient’s face when we remove their braces: they can’t stop grinning and I am doing the same. I assist Dr. Diaz as he treats our patients. I help him and support our patients, to make sure they’re comfortable and know what we’re doing. I also place orders for dental and orthodontic materials.
By the way, I love animals and love talking with patients about their pets.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I love coming to work every day; I look forward to the laughter and smiles I’ll share with our patients. It’s a pleasure to help people feel better about their appearance. I love seeing our happy patients when they see their new smile for the first time. Everyone in the office smiles and celebrates with them. I sit chairside, to assist Dr. Diaz and our patient during treatment. I also study orthodontic models and take photos and X-rays to monitor treatment progress.
My son Xavier means everything to me. Some of my favorite pastimes include traveling, going to the beach, drinking coffee, and watching movies.
Certified Orthodontics Assistant and Laboratory and Photography Coordinator
My favorite part of my job is the smile on our patient’s face when treatment is finished and their beautiful smile is revealed. I love being part of making those smiles happen. I work with specialized dental laboratories to create orthodontic appliances for patients. I’m also in charge of the clinical photography department. That entails classifying and uploading photos for records and to chart the progress on a patient’s smile.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant and Software Technology Coordinator
I love patient visits! It’s fun to see the progress each is making on their new smile. Even better is hearing their latest news and laughing together. Patients and their families become friends, and I love that. I provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures, and support Dr. Diaz and the patients. I talk with them about what we’re doing and keep them entertained. I also handle our software needs, including updates, installations, and troubleshooting.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I love talking and laughing with our patients. Each person always has something new to tell me about their life and I learn from them. We become friends and I look forward to each visit as a chance to strengthen that friendship. I prepare the treatment area, provide chairside assistance to the patient and Dr. Diaz, and answer questions from patients and their family. I also take X-rays and sterilize equipment and tools.
I’m happily married. We have two wonderful sons, Aiden and Liam, who are the lights of my life. We enjoy going to the movies, traveling, and spending time with our closest friends.
Front Desk and Orthodontic Technician
I love every part of my job, but the best is the conversations with our patients and their families. Everyone has new adventures to tell us about — including successes in school, work, and sports — and I love hearing all of it. I welcome patients when they arrive and check them in. I also collect payments and schedule future visits. In our back office, I sterilize the instruments and maintain a sterile work area. I provide chairside assistance during procedures, too.
I’m a full-time employee and a full-time student at Valencia College, where I’m studying for my bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. I plan on applying for dental school when I graduate.
